Presenter

Mr Nick Bruton

Nick qualified as an Environmental Health Officer in 1999, and then spent over 12 years in Local Government enforcing health and safety law. This has given Nick a detailed knowledge of legislation and associated guidance, and crucially a valuable insight into how the mindset of an enforcement officer works.
In the subsequent eight years that he has worked at Southalls, this has enabled Nick to offer valued advice to all of his varied client base, striking a careful balance between ensuring reasonable steps will be taken to keep enforcers satisfied but also with an appreciation of being commercially minded and ensuring that any suggested measures are workable. In his new capacity as Operations Manager, Nick wants to make sure that these same principles remain embedded within the business.
Presenter

Mr Ian Hatherly

Ian Hatherly is the Operations Director at Southalls and started life as a health and safety enforcement officer. Since joining Southalls Ian has used his knowledge to provide commercially sensible solutions to health and safety problems.
